Roli Akperi nee Amaye was born on December 29, 1964 in St. Philomena Catholic Hospital, Benin City, Edo State to late Engr. Samuel Diden Yalaju Amaye and Mrs. Victoria Nikoro Amaye. In 1996, she married her childhood friend, Mr. Dalton Omajuwa Akperi and their union is blessed with beautiful children - Uranranoritse and Ayeoritse. She is God fearing, a loving wife and mother. She attended Edohen Primary School and Anglican Girls' Grammar School (Adesuwa Girls' Grammar school) both in Benin City, Edo State. She got her first degree (B.Tech. Ind. Chem) from the Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University, (Federal University of Science and Technology) Bauchi, Bauchi State and did her NYSC in Fiwasaye Girls' Grammar School, Akure, Ondo State. Thereafter, she proceeded to the University of Benin, Benin City for a second degree (M.Sc Ind. Chem). She was a PhD student in-waiting when she got her first job offer with Texaco Overseas (Nig) Petroleum Company Unlimited (TOPCON) as a Community Relations Officer in October 1992. Following the merger between Chevron Nigeria Ltd. and Texaco Overseas (Nig) Petroleum Company Unlimited in 2001, her Chevron journey began, where she held various leadership/managerial positions until her retirement in 2024. In 2003, she became an Independent Sales Consultant with Mary Kay Company (a multi-level network marketing company) and with dedication and hard work, she moved up the ladder to become a "Top" Independent Sales Director in 2004. She is a confident, "private" woman who loves her family and culture. She loves to cook and travel to explore the world. She is strict, compasionate, down-to-earth and dedicated. She puts others first, treats them the exact ways she wants to be treated and brings out the best in them. She loves to express herself in parables and quotes.
